KINDNESS FOR WEAKNESS
People often tell me that I am antisocial. However, the truth is that I have a very low tolerance for the disregard, disrespect, and lack of consideration that people have for others. I am 6'3" tall and I weigh 255 lbs. I have 21" biceps and I bench press 500 lbs when in proper training condition; yet, I am always engaged in a game of walking chicken when in the mall or walking through the halls of LSUS. I make an extra effort to walk on the right side of the walkways thinking this is the general rule, but I find myself having to dodge, step aside, or even move abruptly to avoid a head on collision. It is always some guy that wants to test his testosterone level or some woman (usually young) that thinks she is the center of the universe. Cognizant of the bodily harm that could potentially be caused by an accident, I steer clear of the oncoming vehicle and vent my road rage by silently calling them idiots. Although I avoid potential danger, there is always that temptation to stand my ground and allow the Pintos, Explorers, and Mini Coopers to run head on into a Mack truck. I wonder what would happen if the kinder me stayed home and the eighteen wheels of my strength roared uncontrollably down the halls looking to destroy everything in my path.

Don't let your frustration build up. Take it out on a punching bag. It's best not to engage idiots who are threatened by you.
I'm with Janna. And in these halls, you pretty much do have to practice defensive walking. I keep having to dodge people who turn on their cells phones the minute they walk out of a classroom. They can't walk and dial at the same time.

I don't know where I am supposed to leave an answer to your comment, if it is on my blog or just a comment to you, so I guess I will just put it here. I learned in the bible study that to be free in Christ is to no longer be a captive to the lies and deceit of satan. Being free in Christ helps me to recognize satan's attacks and helps me to get through them with God. Being free helps me with a better relationship with God.
I understand your frustration! I hate that people are so inconsiderate of other people and their things. My poor car has more dings in the doors from people carelessly swinging their doors open! And driving around this town is another story! People are SO rude! If I didn't have to drive around here, I wouldn't!
I have to say, though, I am very to blessed to have a reliable car....so I can't complain too much!
